Celebrated National Lobster Day 9/1/23 – at one of Chicago’s original oyster bars. Shaw’s Crab House – Chicago is celebrating the day with offering half price select oysters on the half shell.
Drinks: Bulleit Old Fashions & Bullet Manhattan.
We shared: A dozen & a half of Raw Oysters. They were delicious.
The Daughter in Law & Mrs. Q: shared A Caesar Salad.
Dinner: 2 cups of Lobster Bisque soup, 2 soft shell Crabs, Lobster cocktail, Lobster Taco, Lobster Roll.
Mrs. Q had: CAESAR SALAD -w/white anchovies. Dinner: Appetizer – SAUTEED NORTH CAROLINA SOFTSHELL CRAB – jasmine rice, sautéed spinach, lemon butter.
She had their Old Fashion.
Mr. Q had: Lobster Bisque Soup. Dinner: Appetizer –SAUTEED NORTH CAROLINA SOFTSHELL CRAB – jasmine rice, sautéed spinach, lemon butter.
Shaw’s has some of the best Oysters/Clams. Fresh, Fresh & Fresh were the Oysters, delicious Bisque Soup, bread, & dinner entrees.
Q-Tips say: Shaw’s is one of the best Seafood, Sushi & Steak Restaurants around Chi-Town. You don’t find Seafood any fresher than at Shaw’s. Mrs. Q says: It is one of the BEST restaurant not the least expensive – but worth it every penny. And we don’t have to “Shuck” our own Oysters. Best Lobster Bisque Soup and awesome Sautéed Soft Shell Crab.
Mrs. Q says: Rode her favorite bus, the #147 back. The downtown area was humming with many people out and about enjoying the beautiful weather, dining & shopping scene in Chi-town.
