Chinatown – Chgo 7/2019

Chinatown –  Chinatown Square – 2154 S Archer Ave., Chicago, IL,  (312) 842-9831,

Q-tips say: Yes, see it. Been here before. Chicago’s Chinatown isn’t huge, a collection of a few streets.  The architecture, the statues, the Chinese zodiac statues, the two story tiers of businesses. Its old and historic. Chicago Chinatown  This time we took the public transportation “the Red Line elevated train.”  Also have taken the water taxi here.  Many stores, restaurants to visit. Always have to stop for a fresh and hot BBQ Pork Bun from a bakery. This time it was from Chiu Quon Bakery. Cute little shop but very loud with the locals enjoying the food/coffee/TV/and their conversations.

Continued walking around on a beautiful weather day.  Stopped for lunch at MingHin restaurant where we had several “small plates- dim sum.” Continued walking through the square and then home on the “Red” Line.

See our review of MingHin on Q-tips restaurants 2019.
