Falsettos – 6/2019

Falsettos –  Nederlander Theatre – 24 W Randolph St,  (312) 977- 1701,  broadwayinchicago.com

Falsettos revolves around the life of a charming, intelligent, neurotic gay man named Marvin, his wife, lover, about-to-be-Bar-Mitzvahed son, their psychiatrist, and the lesbians next door. It’s a hilarious and achingly poignant look at the infinite possibilities that make up a modern family… and a beautiful reminder that love can tell a million stories.

Q-tips say: Enjoyed it. Yes it is about life. Families, husband/wife not getting along/divorce/remarriage/gays/ and raising a child/death. Mrs. Q says: Be aware that the entire show is sung, so if that is not enticing to you, think twice before you go.  Strong acting, powerful singing voices and interesting how they manage the sets on stage. The theater is gorgeous. An old theater that was once called the “Oriental Theater.” It is a treat to just see the beautiful theater.
