THE FOUR SEASONS – The story of the four young men from the wrong side of the tracks in New Jersey who came together to form the iconic `60s rock group The Four Seasons. Their trials and triumphs are accompanied by the hit songs that influenced a generation, and are now being embraced by a new generation of fans through the stage musical.
Q-Tips say: SEE IT! Forget what some of the critics have said. WE LIKED IT.
Mrs. Q says: The film focuses on the story behind the group. It has an element of a mobster movie without the violence. You see the UPS AND DOWNS of the group, their financial troubles along with their personal troubles with their own lives and families. That being said, “YOU CAN’T BEAT THE MUSIC IN THIS MOVIE.”
GOOD FOR CHILDREN/GRANDCHILDREN?: Probably 11 or older. Insinuated sex, there is smoking and a little bit of drinking, tad of violence but no killing – they see more violence on TV. If they like this music, take them along. Everyone will enjoy.
Mrs. Q wanted to loudly sing along and start dancing in the aisles – she had to control herself. So go see it – especially if you are a product of the 60’s and like the music of the Frankie Valli & the Four Seasons.
