The Theory of Everything 11/2014

The Theory of Everything – Starring Eddie Redmayne (“Les Misérables”) and Felicity Jones (“The Amazing Spider-Man 2”), this is the extraordinary story of one of the world’s greatest living minds, the renowned astrophysicist Stephen Hawking, who falls deeply in love with fellow Cambridge student Jane Wilde. Once a healthy, active young man, Hawking received an earth-shattering diagnosis at 21 years of age. With Jane fighting tirelessly by his side, Stephen embarks on his most ambitious scientific work, studying the very thing he now has precious little of – time. Together, they defy impossible odds, breaking new ground in medicine and science, and achieving more than they could ever have dreamed. The film is based on the memoir Traveling to Infinity: My Life with Stephen, by Jane Hawking.

Q-TIPS SAY: See it. Great acting by Eddie Redmayne as Stephen and Felicity Jones, as his wife – What a WOMAN! The movie shows not only his professional achievements but the struggle in his personal life.
Only negative: did drag on in a few places, but still see it. Mrs. Q thought it was a bit selfish of Steven not to get paid help for the little woman – perhaps they really could not afford to do so.
Yes, they are still married and he is now 72 years old with grandchildren. Not bad for a fellow, who when diagnosed, was given 2 years to live.

Mrs. Q thinks there may be some awards given for the acting in this movie.
