The New Orleans Jazz Museum celebrates jazz in the city where it was born.

Housed in the historic Old U.S. Mint, strategically located at the intersection of the French Quarter and the Frenchmen Street live music corridor, the New Orleans Jazz Museum is in the heart of the city’s vibrant music scene.  The building actually used to be the old US mint. The first floor has a small exhibit on minting coins and a little bit about the history of the building. The next two floors had some jazz history. However, for how big jazz is in New Orleans.
