BOHEMIAN HOUSE – 11 W Illinois St., Chicago,(312) 955-0439, Bohochicago.Com also known as: BOHO.
A note to those with disabilities: There are several steps to get into the restaurant, so if you are in a wheel chair or cannot climb stairs, there is no elevator service.
Q-tips say: Went with long time friends and had a great time.
The women had the: PORK SCHNITZEL – Butterball fingerling potatoes, cucumber mizeria, house mustard & charred lemon. Mrs. Q says,“It was awesome” – large enough portion to share, but she didn’t. With a glass of champagne made it perfect. The men had the: CZECH ROASTED DUCK: Sauerkraut, sweet-sour plum marmalade & Czech bread dumpling. Was told it was one of the best duck they ever had. Smaller portion than the Schnitzel. Our friends had shared dessert which they enjoyed: APPLE STRUDEL – Brandied raisins, walnuts & crème fraîche ice cream.
Go and enjoy! We did and plan to go again.
