USAGI YA SUSHI – Chicago 9/2014

USAGI YA SUSHI – 1178 N Milwaukee Ave, Chicago, IL 60642, (773) 292-5885

Q-Tips say: Used a discount coupon, Amazon or Living social coupon and they offered what they advertised including two drinks. We chose the Dirty-tini made with (sake, cucumber and kettle one vodka – the dirty version uses unfiltered sake).

Starters: Gyoza – 6 pan-fried dumplings with vegetables and seasoned pork
Soft Shell Crab Appetizer
Deep-fried soft shell crab served with a zesty citrus sauce in a crispy filo shell.
Mrs. Q had the Clear broth soup and shared w/ the M.
Entree: One Entree to share: Ton Katsu Pan-fried pork tenderloin with panko bread crumbs and ton katsu sauce.

After dinner complimentary slices of orange presented in a elegant manner. The service was good.

Mrs. Q says: Bottom line is: Decent service, nice ambiance, food, drinks but nothing really outstanding to make the Q’s make the trek back for their sushi/sashimi . too many good sushi restaurants closer to us and some are
BYOB – which is always a bonus.
