Wrigley Field – Cubs Park -1060 W Addison St, Chicago, IL 60613, (773) 404-2827
Q-Tips say: The Q’s went to see the game with “The Son and his Lady-friend.” Enjoyed the company, the peanuts, beer, hot dogs and being outdoors. However, the game became interesting against the Kansas City Royals but the Cubs self-destructed late and the defending American League champion Royals took full advantage for an 8-4 victory at Wrigley Field. The Royals hit three solo homers and exploited two Cub errors before a crowd of 34,273. Seemed like there were more Royal fans than Cub fans. Anyway, we did enjoy and taking public transportation made it easy.
Mrs. Q says: Wrigley Field now called Cellular Field – is one of the most famous ball parks – history surrounds this park and the park is surrounded by many pubs, bars, restaurants and need I say it “history.” Go and cheer the team on and shout “Let’s go Cubbies” unless you are a White Sox fan than go anyway and cheer the “Cubbies” they need the support and you will enjoy!
