Miracle is set against the backdrop of the Chicago Cubs 2016 Championship season.

MIRACLE tells the story of a typical blue collar Chicago family and what it means to have faith and lose it and try to regain it again. The story chronicles the Delaney family, a tough North Side clan whose lives have been intrinsically linked to the Cubbies for generations. Each member of the family has their own story built around the dynamics of their lives and their love of the Cubs. Whether it’s Pops Delaney, who struggles to resolve his conflicts with his son, Charlie, or Charlie’s struggle to keep the family business afloat while trying to be a good husband and attentive Dad, or his 11-year-old daughter Dani, who is totally enamored with the boys in blue and every one of their statistics. Mom, as is frequently the case, is the glue that holds the whole family together.

Q-tips say: HOLY COW! See it! A fun play with great stage settings with a superb cast.  Mrs. Q says: this is a great musical – there is dialog and singing thru out not just totally singing. Great story line and a touch of genius to have a movie screen above the stage where they change the background on the screen during scenes but does not detract from the story – it adds to the story. WOW!  Make sure you wear your Cubs shirt/hat, etc. Fun!

If you are a “Cubs” fan, even if you are not an avid fan, see this musical. They include the audience for the 7th inning stretch.  A smaller theater but plenty of room for you to stretch your feet.    Can’t say enough about this musical.  Go Cubs!!!!

Well, of course except for the dinner afterwards at Ca BaBa Reeba – Delicious small plates.
