After a disastrous first date, wild child Nicole and socially anxious Max vow to lose each other’s numbers, until they learn that their dogs found a love match, and now puppies are on the way.
Q-tips say: Yes, watch it. We enjoyed. Even if much of the humour feels rather goofy, and the path to love is very predictable, there’s plenty here to enjoy. Puppy Love gives its characters more complexity than your average boy-meets-girl flick, and the characters elevate the material further with believable acting and strong comedy timing.
Mrs. Q says: Sometimes cute dogs and good actors is enough to make a film work. The puppies are cute enough to recommend it.
