Esio Trot combines humor and silliness with poignancy and, occasionally, melancholy. A delightful and heart warming film with beauty all around and especially in the open garden on the balcony of Mr Hoppy’s apartment due to the continuous efforts of Mr Hoppy. Story teller and all characters were a delight to watch. Kindness and caring for all the good things in life proved the glorious ending and new beginning for Mr Hoppy and Mrs Silver.

This is ultimately a family drama, and the remarkable tale of a young man, seriously disadvantaged as a complete establishment outsider, who manages to do good.

Definitely on the heavy side but actors (Glenn Close & Amy Adams) and casting were very good!

If you want something easy to watch and just want to feel good, watch it! We enjoyed it and definitely wish for a second season.

Mrs. Q says: If you don’t enjoy shows about gays or drag queens with a lot of heart — just Change the channel. This is harmless fun with a few laugh out loud jokes. It’s not going to win any Emmy’s for acting but we did enjoy. Enjoyed the relationship between Marco & Mamma.

Detective Axel Foley (Eddie Murphy) is back on the beat in Beverly Hills. After his daughter’s life is threatened, she (Taylour Paige) and Foley team up with a new partner (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) and old pals Billy Rosewood (Judge Reinhold) and John Taggart (John Ashton) to turn up the heat and uncover a conspiracy.

This is a pleasant blast of nostalgia that fans of the series will enjoy — a nice mix of callbacks with a splash of new additions that help breathe life into a franchise left for dead after the last film. Axel F. provides a solid premise that gives Murphy’s wisecracking, sarcastic, slick minded investigator a reason to get back at it again.

 Following Powell as a teacher turned private police man, we see his character develop and grow to a point where the audience really connects with his character and his many personas.

The producer uses special effects to give a loan shark a close encounter he will not forget.

Q-tips say: Yes, we did enjoy it! The movie is about how we like to define people by their jobs, or even if they’re a cat or dog person, but one of the great things about humanity is our ability to surprise even ourselves. 

Lana’s daughter Emma returns from abroad and drops a bombshell: she’s getting married. In Thailand. In a month! Things only get worse when Lana learns that the man who captured Emma’s heart is the son of the man who broke hers years ago.

Q-tips say: Yes, watch it. Predictable, yes somewhat.

If you are looking for a feel good film this is it. This movie definitely was a good watch that made yo have moments that anyone can relate too. The cast was good. Loved that it’s incorporating so many real life experiences. Social media, love, not losing oneself & losing oneself & coming back to who you are.

This is a wonderfully done family movie suitable for all ages. 

The beauty of this movie is that it is a joy to watch especially after a long and busy day. Whether solo or with loved ones, the tempo of ‘The Storyteller’ and its content are a calm and enjoyable contrast to our typically hectic daily lives.

A biographical look at The Temptations, the Motown soul vocal quintet who first came to fame in the 1960s, as seen from the viewpoint of the last surviving original member, Otis Williams. Beginning from their humble origins in the late 1950s and continuing through the 1990s and the deaths of the other original members.

The trials they went through will just might break your heart. For those moments in time when everything was working for them, they created magic.

Mrs. Q says: It might bring back memories when you were younger & might find yourself singing along. Was delighted by this movie. Not only is it largely educational and offers very introspective looks into the lives of all members of the group, but the acting is fantastic. The film truly captures the soul music scene of early 1960’s Detroit, and further on as the Temptations rise to fame, etc. The soundtrack is amazing, and you will truly sympathize with this group of real-life legends who sang their hearts out in Motown’s heyday.
