Bob is a washed-up revolutionary who lives in a state of stoned paranoia, surviving off-grid with his spirited and self-reliant daughter, Willa. When his evil nemesis resurfaces and Willa goes missing, the former radical scrambles to find her as both father and daughter battle the consequences of their pasts.
Q tips say:We were not impressed with this movie.It has along running time of almost 3 hours. It takes more than 35 minutes for the main story to “begin.”
The film is about revolution, obsession, freedom, and ultimately familial devotion.
The ending was enjoyable. The movie is intense, and a wonderful father/daughter story at its core.

Trying to leave their troubled lives behind, twin brothers (Michael B. Jordan) return to their hometown to start again, only to discover that an even greater evil is waiting to welcome them back.
Q-tips say: Might not be for everyone. Liked the music, the cinematography, the costumes, the acting.
Is this movie about love, freedom, racism, blues music, the black experience, race relations in the Jim Crow south, immigration, integration, culture, religion, adventure? Pick one, but it can’t be all. If a movie is about vampires, I enjoy it if it’s scary and/or exciting–this one was neither for me.
An enjoyable evening with neighbor, Nancy & friend, Jim.
We shared the homemade bread & delicious butter & a bottle of red wine: Montepulciano.
Both had Salads. Nancy had Salmon.
Jim had: Butternut Squash Ravioli.
The Q-tips shared: Caesar Salad & special of the day: Trenne Dolce Italia- Triangle pasta with creamy tomato sauce, fresh tomato, peas, mozzarella, mushroom, and parmigiano.
1/21/26 – Fried Chicken & St. Louis Ribs. Served with sides.
Q-Tips say: Never Again. The salad bar was ok- many items to make your salad. The Sides were plentiful BUT the FRIED CHICKEN was very greasy & some pieces were burned on the bottom.
However, on the positive side: If you are constipated, go and eat the Chicken. The next day everything will come out fine.

Our Goodbye dinner with Sean, our Son & Danielle, our favorite Daughter in Law. Both began their meals with a cup of Garlic Soup,
Each had their own delicious Drinks – Old Fashions & Perfect Manhattans. Our appetizer was: Mussels.
Danielle had: Boeuf a la Diane – Beef stewed in red wine, Dijon mustard, brandy and mushrooms.
Sean had: Le Filet Mignon – A generous 8 ag. cut charbroiled as you like it, Bearnaise sauce and brandy.
Both Q-tips had: Mushroom Soup & Lamb Chops cooked to your liking with fine herbs potatoes & veggies.
Desserts:
Strawberry Romanoff – A rich sauce of Strawberries, Triple Sec, Brandy and whipped cream, put together table side, spooned on vanilla ice cream.
Mousse Au Chocolate
Your meal always begins with complimentary Pate with French bread – carrots/olives.
Q-tips say: Yes, go and enjoy. It is awesome. They advance marine science and education leading to new discoveries, revitalization, sustainability and greater public understanding of our oceans.
After our visit to the Mote Marine, we stopped by the Peridia Golf & CC for a drink and then Son, Sean & Daughter in Law, Danielle, made a delicious dinner – Black eyed Pea Bruschetta & Jambalaya.
Enjoyed the Shark, Sea Turtle, Manatee, Coral Reef, otter, Stingray, and Touch Tank Experiencesawesome Exhibits.

Daughter in Law & Son , along with the Q-tips enjoyed the Circus in Sarasota. After the Circus, off to Pier 22.
Mrs. Q says: What a great circus! It is intimate and small. The performers were excellent. After the show there was an opportunity to meet the performers – speak with them and get photos with them. I highly recommend this circus!
When bratty 8-year-old Kevin McCallister (Macaulay Culkin) acts out the night before a family trip to Paris, his mother (Catherine O’Hara) makes him sleep in the attic. After the McCallisters mistakenly leave for the airport without Kevin, he awakens to an empty house and assumes his wish to have no family has come true. But his excitement sours when he realizes that two con men (Joe Pesci, Daniel Stern) plan to rob the McCallister residence, and that he alone must protect the family home.
Q-tips say: Yes, watch it. Saw it before but stilled enjoyed it again.
As the holidays approach, Clark Griswold (Chevy Chase) wants to have a perfect family Christmas, so he pesters his wife, Ellen (Beverly D’Angelo), and children, as he tries to make sure everything is in line, including the tree and house decorations. However, things go awry quickly. His hick cousin, Eddie (Randy Quaid), and his family show up unplanned and start living in their camper on the Griswold property. Even worse, Clark’s employers renege on the holiday bonus he needs.
Q-tips say: YES, watch it. You will Crack up- even if you have seen it before.
