Mrs. Q says: Candy Cane Lane will disappoint viewers looking for a truly funny Christmas comedy.

In this live-action adaptation of the beloved children’s tale by Dr. Seuss, the reclusive green Grinch (Jim Carrey) decides to ruin Christmas for the cheery citizens of Whoville. Reluctantly joined by his hapless dog, Max, the Grinch comes down from his mountaintop home and sneaks into town to swipe everything holiday-related from the Whos. However, the bitter grump finds a hitch in his plans when he encounters the endearing Cindy Lou Who. Netflix

Q-tips say: YES, we did enjoy it!

Mrs. Q says: I think “the Grinch” is a beautiful Christmas movie with a nice meaning and a beautiful message about love, sharing and being nice.

This is Christmas is a solid feel-good holiday movie with enjoyable characters and a fun premise. The relationship between the old man and his young friend is easily the film’s standout element, bringing real warmth to the story.

 A brilliant but egotistical scientist who brings a creature to life in a monstrous experiment that ultimately leads to the undoing of both the creator and his tragic creation. Netflix & Theaters

Q-tips say: Enjoyed it. A tad slow at times but very different than the original Frankenstein.

Marissa Irvine arrives to collect her young son Milo from his first playdate, but the woman who answers the door isn’t a mother she recognizes. She doesn’t have Milo and has never heard of him. And so begins every parent’s worst nightmare.

Q-tips say: YES, we are enjoying All Her Fault so far. We continue to enjoy this show. This is one of the best series we have recently watched – Enjoy!

Elsbeth Tascioni, the astute but unconventional attorney, works with the NYPD to catch New York’s most well-heeled murderers utilizing her unique point of view. “Elsbeth” is based on the character featured in “The Good Wife” and “The Good Fight.”

Q-tips say: YES, we are enjoying watching the series “Elsbeth.”

Mrs. Q says: In an era where so much TV is so dark and depressing, Elsbeth stands out as a sweet, happy little treat. Some of her outfits are good for a hearty laugh.

Colter Shaw, a trusted lone-wolf survivalist who, driven by the troubles of his past, uses his instincts to find the missing and collect rewards. Supported by lawyer Reenie Green, his business handler Velma Bruin and tech expert Bobby Exley, Colter will stop at nothing to get the job done. Series

Q-tips say: Yes, we do enjoy Tracker. Mr. Q enjoys it more than the Mrs.

Mrs. Q Says: “Tracker” is ok, but don’t expect anything groundbreaking. Many times it takes a very very long time to come to an end. I love the banter between the brothers. I hope he continues to pop up every few episodes.
