Q-tips say: After the German American Fest we walked to Himmels for early dinner with our friends. Nice ambiance, clean & inside had nice German decorations & full bar. Music at dinner time.
Some had: Liver Dumpling soup – was good indeed. Then two had: Champignon Rahm Schnitzel – Pan-fried Pork Tenderloin in a shallot mushroom cream sauce. Served with spätzle and red cabbage.
Mrs. Q says: Had a similar dish at Bergoff’s & it was much better than this. This one had way too much creamy sauce all over it. Not at all like the photo below.
The other two had: Wurst Plate – Brattwurst, Thueringer, Kassler, Sauerkraut & Spätzl.
Servings were so big that all took some home.
