During the 1972 Munich Olympics, an American sports broadcasting crew finds itself thrust into covering the hostage crisis involving Israeli athletes.

Q-tips say: Yes, watch it. “September 5” takes viewers inside a TV control room in 1972, where ABC Sports  broadcasters face an unprecedented crisis: gunmen from the Palestinian militant group Black September have infiltrated the Olympic village, killed two members of the Israeli athletic team, and taken nine others hostage. 

Mrs. Q says: September 5 depicts the terrorist attack on the Israeli Olympic team in Munich from the standpoint of the news team. This movie is very powerful as it describes an important event in history, which is still relevant today.

An elite sniper, a master of disguise and a highly trained killer, the Jackal is an assassin, coldly carrying out hits for a fee. Following an attack on a high-profile and notorious politician, he’s offered his riskiest job yet, one that could pay him enough to leave this life for good. But his work has attracted the attention of Bianca, a tenacious British intelligence officer, whose world-class expertise in firearms makes her the ideal candidate to hunt him down. What follows is a thrilling cat-and-mouse chase across Europe, as the Jackal works to carry out his new mission, while being pursued by Bianca. However, as the hunt continues and more casualties are caught in their crossfire, it becomes clear that there may be other forces pulling the strings. Q-tips say: Yes, we are enjoying this series but the ending is a tad disappointing – which probably means another set of series.

Mrs. Q says: It’s an amazing globetrotting -Croatia, Spain, Germany, the list goes on, and each episode is more gorgeous than the last. You might enjoying saying, we were there & saw that. Keeps you on the edge of your seat, perfectly executed with amazing editing, tight direction, and outstanding performances from the entire cast. If you can get past some of the slower episodes, the pay off and the final is so worth the wait!

A tale of a young man with a learning disability, named Todd McCray (Noel Fisher) living with his parents in the rural midwest. The story takes place over a two-week period over the Christmas holidays when the local animal shelter launches an “Adopt a dog for Christmas” program.

Q-tips say: Yes, watch it. When Todd, a developmentally-challenged 20 year-old with an affinity for animals, hears that the animal shelter is looking for families to foster a dog for Christmas, he’s eager to sign up. But Todd’s father George says “no adoptions” – even temporary ones – claiming he wants to protect Todd from disappointment.

However, soon, George’s heart begins to melt, as he sees how much Todd is getting out of the experience of taking care of a dog. For a father who has worried about how his disabled son will make his way in the world, seeing Todd learn a valuable life lesson about the importance of keeping his word and display a maturity that George didn’t think he possessed makes George realize what the dog has contributed to his household.

Christmas is always a special time of the year, and it is full of presents, cookies, Santa Clause, and time with family. Take a look at “Christmas Through the Decades” as it explores the holiday, starting in the 1960s and JFK’s assassination; families missing their loved ones serving in Vietnam; and a live video broadcast from the Apollo 8 team. The 1970s brought figurines from a galaxy far far away and even saw a visit with Big Bird on Sesame Street. The ’80s brought the fall of the Berlin Wall, the walkman craze, and Cabbage Patch Kids, as well as the splendor of Clark Griswold’s light display, which rolled right into the 90s with Mikhail Gorbachev’s resignation on Christmas Day. Q-tips say: YES, watch it. We enjoyed this Documentary & it brought back many memories of past Christmases.

Q-tips say: YES, Watch it! A delightfully pleasant comedy. A Man on the Inside is a funny, joyous, and surprisingly poignant series that is absolutely worth your time.

Mrs. Q says: A Man on the Inside is a comedy about espionage, it is equally a comedy about aging, friendship, and loneliness. It nails the delicate balance of having fun with the realities of retirement homes and embracing the bittersweetness.
