DEALING WITH DAD follows Margaret Chang as she reluctantly goes back to her hometown with her hapless brothers to deal with the sudden depression of their dad. The thing is, everybody hates him and he’s actually nicer depressed than well.

Q-tips say: Yes, we did enjoy.

Mrs. Q says: Dealing with Dad focuses on a dysfunctional family that everyone will likely be able to relate to. It’s also funny and full of heart.

The fact is, we don’t know what our parents were like before we were born, and we certainly don’t know the sacrifices they have made for us. Especially if they refuse to talk about their past. 

That is what truly sets this film apart from others like it. It is easy to become invested in this family, and fall in love with them.

Q-tips say: We did enjoy it. Mrs. Q liked it because he travels to Italy – the sites are wonderful & so is his acting.

Mrs. Q says: The first part is not that dark, but the second part might be highly disturbing to many viewers. Ripley keeps people guessing until the very last moment, and that’s what makes it so interesting.

Tom Ripley is someone who is only happy when he can be satisfied with his ability to outsmart people. He is only truly comfortable when he is lying, weaving tales for inspectors on his trail or suspicious friends.

A waitress and expert pie maker stuck in a small town and a loveless marriage. When a baking contest in a nearby county offers her a chance at escape, Jenna fights to reclaim a long-forgotten part of herself. Q-tips say: Loved it. Baking up a storm of humor and heart, is the perfect treat this holiday season. The cast works well together, the ensemble is great, and the band is great. If you’re looking for a fun, adult themed musical that keeps your toes tapping, your fingers snapping, and your mouth laughing, Q-tips, say watch this – it’s SO worth it! 

Mrs. Q says: An absolute dream. This story is just life in all its beautiful messiness. We’ve all felt stuck, unworthy, or looking for something more but don’t know how to get there.  Every character is brought to life with such vibrancy. It’s a story sweet as pie. We’re all searching for something more and may we find it as these characters did.

Q-tips say: Mrs. Q liked it more than Mr. Q.  The landscapes and scenery are sensational. The experience of life in Australia seems authentic and different from anything American. Sigourney Weaver’s performance is five-star.  It tells the story of the enduring impact of domestic abuse on women and the fear of violence during seemingly happy moments.

Mrs. Q says: This series is definitely NOT for Children.

The theme of abuse stands on its own-message- Life is about surviving men.

It seemed to Mr. Q that the message was: men are either spineless or evil, one or the other.

Q-tips say: YES, Watch it. We enjoyed it.

Cameras are everywhere at once as Swift sings, stomps, and smiles through a nearly three-hour cross-section of her discography. They surround her as she and her dancers cover the mammoth square footage of her SoFi Stadium stage, which lights up imaginatively to correspond with each time frame.

Mrs. Q says: I did not enter the concert film a Swiftie, but I can say with confidence that I really enjoyed this film. Never knew that she played guitar & piano & perform so well. Well done Swift.

PS: Parents – was rated PG-13, due to “some strong language and suggestive materials.”

The incredible tale and fantastical evolution of Bella Baxter (Stone), a young woman brought back to life by the brilliant and unorthodox scientist Dr. Godwin Baxter (Willem Dafoe). Hungry for the worldliness she is lacking, Bella runs off with Duncan Wedderburn (Mark Ruffalo), a slick and debauched lawyer, on a whirlwind adventure across the continents. Stone was honored for her tour-de-force performance as Bella Baxter, a childlike woman in Victorian London who comes to life through a brain transplant and begins a journey of self-discovery.

Q-tips say: We would NOT recommend this movie for all. Poor Things is a weird, – just be prepared for adult themes (many many sex scenes & nudity) & other themes that may unsettle, or offend some viewers.

Mrs. Q says: FYI – Definitely not for children. Some scenes were really uncomfortable to watch. Not only because of the nudity & many many sex scenes but because what was happening to the main character.  The film contains many graphic sex scenes that do very little to forward the plot.

 “Wonka” tells the wondrous story of how the world’s greatest inventor, magician and chocolate-maker became the beloved Willy Wonka we know today. On MAX.

Q-tips say: YES, watch it. We really enjoyed this movie.

Kids. Families. Adults. There’s really something there for everyone and again, it just makes you feel good. Willy Wonka – Timothée Chalamet, was an excellent choice for this role.
